Mission of the Orphanage

The Founders of the Orphanage

Uganda is an East African country and one of the poorest nations in Africa. AIDS has killed lots of the Adult guardians and parents living the Infant children in tears on the streets of kampala.
80% of Ugandan families are hit by the Aids Epidemic and 48% of uganda's children have been witnessed eating Trush on Dust - Bins of kampala strets.
Christian friends orphanage by 22/6/2000 could not contain all tat was happening within the streets of Kampala. By this period, it had began a church mother care center , however due to the increasing tn orphans that could come for accomodation and food at cornerstone miracle/Revival Church, this led us to begin the christian friends orphanage which could take care of these children's perishing lives.

Pastor Ruhasha fresian Dickson ( inset ) is currently the Director of the Orphanage. He oversees the orphanage in all it's dimensions

The Vision and mission of the orphanage
Orphanage Vision

John 15:12 Says,Love one another as the lord has loved us
Greater love has no one than this that he lay down life
For his friends.Christian friends orphanage project lays down
Life for these young orphaned children with a purpose of
Grooming them in Christ Jesus thus making them disciples
and evangelists of tomorrow. Our help is more focused on
Feeding, educating and Christianize these orphaned children
Targeting a harvest of laborers for tomorrow for instance Evangelists,
Teachers of the word, pastors, prophets and apostles who will go
Further in preaching the good news of the kingdom.

Mission Faith of Statement

The spirit of the lord is upon me and has anointed me to preach
The good news to the poor, hungry, captives and to set free the
Hurted hearts, nursing the wounds of those who are bruised and to proclaim the year of God favour.
Isaiah 61:1-5 & Luke 4:18-19. Christian friends orphanage is missioned to minister love, to the hurted hearts of the orphans and to care for their lives bringing them the Joy of salvation that is received by the grace in the Lords name Jesus Christ.
Matthew 25:35, for I was an hungry and you gave me meat, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you took me in, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.
